Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I’m 15 and in 11th grade. I like to make clothes. I am currently working on a vest, and I have made

trousersand general basics (like pillows). I would like to be a clothing designer.

Describe your style.

I am inspired by the style of Vivienne Westwood; she does the oversized big thing. I don’t like tight

clothing; everything has to be big. I like long sleeves; I don’t really like to show my arms. The weather influences what I wear; I get cold really easily. I generally wear dresses and sweaters. I like being different, nothing average. I am into the runway. Looking at different designers inspires me one way or another.

Tell us a  bit about your hair.

I just wanted a different look, more subtly than last year, but with vibrant colors. I’ve wanted gray highlights for a long time now, but no hair dresser will do it for me.

Where is you favorite place to shop?

Online because there is more variety and vintage clothes. Plus, there aren’t a lot of good shops around

here.

What is your current favorite color?

I would have to say, green and gray. I am also into pale and neutral colors,

like brown because they aregood colors to mix and match.

What is you next must have item?

I really want these Sam Edelman, Small healed ankle boots, with leather straps, removable buckles, and suede material. I would also like some wedge cheetah wedges.

What is your biggest splurge?

I splurge every time I go shopping.  When I was younger I use shop until I had no money left.   However, these days I am doing better, I save a little every time I go shopping. I always buy grandpa sweaters and cardigan.

What would you tell a student seeking fashion advice?

Dress they way you want. Don’t think about others and what they think of you. Whatever you like, wear it, even if it is different.

What do you think North Point fashion will be like in 2020?

I don’t know, more casual, I guess. As the years pass, people have become more casual, not many dress up for school. There will probably be bigger hair and more weaves, big curly weaves.

Any thoughts on guys in skinny jeans?

I don’t think there is anything wrong with it. They can be kind of constricting. I really like things that are fitted, nothing that is baggy or too tight.

What should we ask the next interviewee?

What inspires your personality.
