From Funny to Dramatic: The Amazing Spiderman 2

With a great movie comes great…adorably awkward couples, great life lessons, great villains, and great tragedy. The combination also makes for an Amazing Spiderman.

From funny to dramatic, The Amazing Spiderman 2 hits each movie genre just enough to keep all different kinds of movie goers interested. Although this Spiderman is very focused on the relationship between Peter and Gwen, director Marc Webb did a great job at making it all about them, without it really being noticeable. At first, the storyline is a little confusing, and some of the new characters seem kind of unnecessary to the plot. Though in the end, all is proven to be very significant to our hero’s story.
Each character, (especially Gwen) helps push Peter toward his ultimate lesson as Spiderman. One that is clearly presented in the beginning of the movie at a happier time but doesn’t mean much to Peter, or us, until things aren’t so light hearted. But our Spidey learns his lesson, at what almost seems like the last minute, and everything comes full circle making this sequel a must see for regular movie viewers and Marvel fans alike.
