As the leaves are changing colors, the nights are approaching faster, and the air is becoming brisk, it’s a clear sign that fall is upon us. One of my, as well as many others, favorite holidays around this time is Halloween.
On October 30th, a Halloween movie night was held in the North Point Cafeteria. This is a yearly tradition where students get to vote on what movie they would like to watch. On the list there were many well-known options such as Coraline, Nightmare Before Christmas, and Monster House. This year Monster House was selected by popular vote. The event started at 5:30pm and went until the movie ended, scheduled to be at 8:30pm. At the movie night there was hot pizza, candy of all different kids, cookies, and many other sweets.
While not many people attended due to the football game that night against St. Charles, it was still a great way to meet with friends and peers. So, if you’re ever looking for something to do with your friends that’s in the area, and on budget, I’d recommend checking out our school events! As someone who attended the Halloween Movie Night, I can ensure that you will have fun. It was a great way to catch up with the friends I can’t see as much due to my busy schedule. If you perhaps have a similar situation where you find it difficult to meet with friends, I’m positive you all will have a great time at our next PBIS event.
If you missed the movie, I’d recommend attending other PBIS events that will happen throughout the school year. Ms. Davis and the PBIS team put in a lot of effort to ensure students can have a fun memorable time. The next PBIS event we have coming up is a Cozy Night, scheduled to be held on the 21st of November. Look out for more information as we arrive closer to the date. I hope to see you all there and wish everyone a great fall, and if you celebrated, I hope your Halloween was terrifyingly great as well.
