Here at North Point High School we strive for greatness and want all students to succeed. Many students have goals to reach, and North Point wants to help get the students there. I interviewed some students to get feedback on the school and their goals.

I interviewed senior Logan Handwork, and here is what he had to say:

Do you think North Point is preparing you for the real world?

Logan: “Yes, North Point is preparing me for the real world because I’ve gotten a good education over the past couple years.”

How do you think the student body could improve as a whole?

Logan: “Doing more fun activities, such as the movie night, to get the students involved.”

What are your future goals in life?

Logan: “I want to get a college degree and have a successful career.”

What motivates you to put forth your greatest effort?

Logan: “I want to reach my future goals, and I know I have to put in the work in order to be able to do so.”

Next, I interviewed sophomore Ajani Witherspoon, and this is what he had to say:

Do you think North Point is preparing you for the real world?

Ajani: “Yes, because there are programs here that can give you insight on what’s to happen in college and beyond.”

How do you think the student body could improve as a whole?

Ajani: “If more of the students cared about their future, I think there could be much more getting along, and North Point would have a better look.”

What are your future goals in life?

Ajani: “In the future, I want to play soccer and be an air and space engineer.”

What motivates you to put forth your greatest effort?

Ajani: “I motivate myself, because I push myself to do better.”

Austin: “Yes because there are realistic classes to take for your career path.”

How do you think the student body could improve as a whole?

What are your future goals in life?

Austin: “I want to go to college for four years and continue to play soccer.”

What motivates you to put forth your greatest effort?

Austin: “Getting good grades, and my friends and family.”

Lastly, I interviewed senior Cortney Edelen, and here is what she said:

Do you think North Point is preparing you for the real world?

Courtney: “I would say mainly my STI program is preparing me for the real world, because it’s giving me a jump start on my future.”

How do you think the student body could improve as a whole?

Courtney: “I think the students need to be more involved and supportive of each other.”

What are your future goals?

Courtney: “I want to be a flight paramedic and work with kids.”

What motivates you to put forth your greatest effort?

Courtney: “The knowledge of having success.”

These are just a few students and their views. They hope the best for the future of the school and the students.
