Spirit Week Recap
Spirit Week has ended, and the North Point community is now back to normal. North Point students showed their amazing school spirit throughout the past whole week.
On Monday we had pajama day, where students came to school in their appropriate sleepwear. Tuesday was Twin day, where students twinned with friends or even a teacher, in fact, a lot of seniors decided to twin with our Vice Principal, Mr. Lush! It was hilarious to see students in their khaki pants, and their suit and tie! On Wednesday was character day. Our North Point students were very creative with this day as always. Students came to school dressed as Drake, Cruella de Vil, and even Donald Trump! Thursday was our decades day! You would have been confused on which era you were in walking into this school! Students were dressed as the 90’s era, 80’s era, even the 1800’s! Finally, our last Spirit Week day, was our class colors day. Freshman came in with their whitest whites, Sophomores stepped in with their bright yellow, Junior’s in their reds, and Seniors in the infamous black.
Usually our Homecoming Pep Rally is thrown on Friday, the last day of Spirit Week. Unfortunately, due to Covid, we couldn’t have it for safety reasons. Despite that, our North Point Students still came in strong with our well-known school spirit.
North Point is known across the whole Southern Maryland as a very spirited school, and no matter our complications, we ALWAYS show out! GO EAGLES!
