As the sky is still dark, but dimly lit with the promise of dawn, Alexis Malone, a sophomore at North Point High School, is jolted awake by the urging sound of her multiple alarm clocks to ensure she’s awake.
Alexis Malone’s day begins at an early hour. Waking up around 4:45 am, she starts her day with a quick breakfast and a refreshing cold plunge. To mentally prepare for the day, she listens to her favorite songs to get herself hyped up and energized. Chocolate muffins are a staple of her breakfast routine, providing her with the fuel she needs to tackle the day ahead.
Once she arrives at school, Alexis heads straight to the cafeteria to connect with her friends. This social interaction sets the tone for her day and helps her feel grounded before classes begin. To manage her time effectively, Alexis employs a proactive approach. She wakes up early and often stays up late to ensure her schoolwork is completed.
Alexis particularly enjoys her AP Government class with Ms. Pratta. Learning about the political system and preparing for the upcoming AP exam is both challenging and intellectually stimulating. After school, her schedule includes soccer practice, a sport she is passionate about and deeply familiar with for over twelve years.
The most challenging part of her school day is undoubtedly facing tests and quizzes. However, Alexis views these challenges as opportunities for growth and learning. The most important part of her day, however, is spending time with her caring family.
Once she returns home, Alexis often enjoys a sweet snack to refuel after a long day. Instead of simply studying, she focuses on tackling homework assignments and extra practice problems to reinforce her learning. To wind down, Alexis enjoys a relaxing session in the sauna. Her night routine then involves showering, brushing her teeth, and styling her hair. Finally, she ends her day off by going to sleep around 11 pm an or midnight.
Alexis’s day is a testament to her dedication, discipline, and passion for both academics and personal growth.
