Estelle Horsfall is a senior worth recognizing for the month of December! She participates in various extracurriculars and some even spotlight her hobbies. Estelle does fashion design, runs on the North Point Track Team, a member of the school’s choir and orchestra, and has participated in several North Point Theatre Productions. In addition to that outside of school she makes social media content on her TikTok and Instagram.
Q1: What song/artist got you through high school?
A: Two songs that got me through high school were “You Will Win” by Jekalyn Carr and “Made A Way” by Travis Greene because they fill me up with encouragement when I’m feeling stressed or when assignments seem impossible to complete.
Q2: What do you want to do after high school?
A: I want to study Fashion Design and hopefully minor in merchandising so I can own my own brand and store one day.
Q3: What advice do you have for underclassmen?
A: Try new things and take advantage of the numerous electives that North Point has to offer, even the ones that aren’t really talked about. Try putting yourself out there, and know that it’s okay to change your mind about what you want to do in the future. In my experience I had changed my major five times and decided on Fashion and Design by randomly singing up for the textiles and apparel class.

Q4: What is the biggest lesson high school taught you?
A: The only one who can stop you from reaching your full potential is yourself, additionally knowing that I can do whatever I put I mind to. Whether that was making it to Adidas Nationals, making my own homecoming dress, or getting into All-County Choir and Orchestra, I had to stop doubting and rather encourage myself until I met my goals.
Q5: How did you feel from freshman year to now?
A: From freshman year to my senior year I’ve grown much more confident, social, outgoing, and able to accomplish the things I thought were impossible.
Q6: What’s the hardest thing about high school?
A: Some of the hardest things about high school was the work load and finding the balance between clubs, extracurriculars, sports, AP classes, and still finding time to have fun.
Q7: What is your favorite memory from high school?
A: My favorite memory from high school is laughing with my friends this year in AP African American Studies.
Q8: What is your favorite memory from before high school? (K-8th)
A: My favorite memory before high school was Mrs. Pyror’s first grade class. I got to make nerd jello, eat pie to learn about fractions, and enjoyed all the arts and crafts I did for various holiday celebrations.
