L.J plays varsity field hockey and is also on the varsity swim team. She was the co-captain of mock trial in 2024 and she’s also on Skills U.S.A. She’s a part of the JROTC drill team. L.J has been an athlete all her life and is a very smart person regarding sports and academics.
Q1: What artist got you through high school, and what song would you say describes your year?
A: “I would not say an artist specifically but one song that got me through was “Dancing through Life” from the Wicked soundtrack because this year has been kind of easy and for the entire year, I would say “Slumber Party.”
Q2: What are your plans after high school and why?
A: “My plans after high school are to go to a four-year college for either animation or illustration and maybe a minor in graphic design as well as on the side join the Air Force for extra money.”
Q3: What advice do you have for underclassmen?
A: “Enjoy It. Once you get to senior year, it’s like an empty void and you really don’t know what’s next and do your work.”
Q4: What is your favorite memory from high school?
A: “Anytime I’m in my graphics class. I love my graphics class and my classmates; we hang out regularly.”
Q5: What’s the biggest lesson high school has taught you?
A: “Not everyone that you are friends with freshman year are going be your friend by senior year.”
Q6: How do you feel from freshman year to now?
A: “Well I’m still single and I was really mean freshman year, and I feel that I have grown into a better person.”
Q7: What is your favorite memory from before high school? (K-8th)
A: “My favorite memory has to be hanging out with my old best friend Skye, and I got stuck in a swing.”
Q8: What is the hardest thing about high school?
A: “The teachers are the hardest thing about high school.”
