Sawyer is in ROTC and criminal justice. He does a lot of community service and also has a job on top of all of that. He’s in our school’s lifeguarding class. He also does a cadet program with the community sheriff’s office.
Q1: What artist got you through high school, and what song would you say describes your year?
A: “I would say that the Fraya helped me get throw my four years of high school and the song that describes my year is “Wait for it.”
Q2: What are your plans after high school and why?
A: “I plan on attending barber school and opening up my own barber shop because I want to make money and I want to work for myself.”
Q3: What advice do you have for underclassmen?
A: “To keep your head down and do what you have to do to get through high school and stop worrying about other people.”
Q4: What is your favorite memory from high school?
A: “It would probably be joining ROTC because it gave me such a sense of community.”
Q5: What’s the biggest lesson high school has taught you?
A: “That not everyone is your friend; you’ll think they are but they’re really no”
Q6: How do you feel from freshman year to now?
A: “Coming in freshman year I was so excited but my sophomore and junior years just kind of went downhill but once you get to your senior year, it really doses fly by.”
Q7: What is your favorite memory from before high school? (K-8th)
A: “My 5th grade full day field trip.”
Q8: What is the hardest thing about high school?
A: “Trying to figure out who you are as a person while also trying to figure out what you wanted to do with your life while surrounded by people that are trying to do the same thing.”
