Her peers have described her as a blessing to be around. Reagan can always make the people around her laugh, and she is truly so easy to talk to. While answering our senior spotlight questions, she had time to reflect over these four years.
Q1: What artist got you through high school, and what song would you say describes your year?
A: “I don’t have one artist because so much has changed throughout high school. A song that describes me would be “Confidently Last” by Sabrina Claudio.”
Q2: What are your plans after high school and why?
A: “After high school, I plan to study Computer Science and continue building technical and financial skills that will allow me to create long-term independence and opportunity.”
Q3: What advice do you have for underclassmen?
A: “Do anything that sparks your interest, so you don’t regret not doing it later.”
Q4: What is your favorite memory from high school?
A: “All the people I’ve met and the impacts they’ve had on my life.”
Q5: What’s the biggest lesson high school has taught you?
A: “High school taught me that setbacks don’t define you, your response does. Growth is quiet, and real progress doesn’t need to be announced.”
Q6: How do you feel from freshman year to now?
A: “I always felt called to find my purpose. Sophomore year and beyond tested me, but it ultimately helped me discover who I am. Growth isn’t always comfortable, but it’s always worth it.”
Q7: What is your favorite memory from before high school? (K-8th)
A: “Laughing with my classmates every morning in Mrs. Scrivens’ and Mr. Newstead’s class during 8th grade.”
Q8: What is the hardest thing about high school?
A: “Not only is it the workload, if you take AP’s, and constant studying, it’s also having the strength to overcome challenges. Obstacles will always exist and whether or not you get through them is your choice”
